Students at Embassy CES schools in Australia automatically become members of the Platypus Club which organises a lively programme of events and excursions. A party of students from Embassy CES and Martin College in Brisbane, led by Michael McLaughlin, recently went on one such excursion to Springbrook National Park, which is about 90 minutes from Brisbane and is famous for its rain forests and waterfalls.
Michael McLaughlin, Facilitator at Martin College Brisbane, writes:
Myself and a few students from both Martin College and Embassy CES took off on our adventure to Springbrook National Park. We hiked through 12 kilometers of the park and thought we were going to die⦠but we had such a good time, and the scenery was absolutely amazing - so beautiful. The bus trip back to Brisbane was a lot quieter after our adventure.
