This January 2009, Embassy LA, presently located at Manhattan Beach, will relocate a few miles south to its fab new home at Long Beach. The new campus is conveniently located within easy walking distance of local attractions such as the Long Beach Aquarium, Shoreline Village Shopping Center and the East Village Arts District, to name just a few. All of the teachers and staff currently working at Embassy Manhattan Beach will move to the new campus, with Terrance Mayes as Center Director, Michael Ramos as Lead Teacher and Begum Asena as the Student Services Representative. Students and staff alike will benefit from state of the art facilities, such as interactive whiteboards, digital course materials and a multi-media centre, whilst wireless internet access is also available throughout the site. Furthermore the building complex in which the centre is located conveniently houses shops, restaurants, a post office and a Hilton Hotel. Embassy LA will continue to offer the same Certificate courses, Diploma courses, TOEFL preparation, internships, travel and culture courses, one-to-one lessons and English Plus Surfing and English Plus Golf programs. A beautiful student residence is available offering shared accommodation. Campus residents will benefit from wireless internet access, cable television and continental breakfasts - served daily. For students wishing to live with a host family, the Los Angeles Study Center will continue to use most of the families currently working with Embassy LA. Our staff will work to assist any student who requires a change in accommodation during the move to the Long Beach campus.
