December 9th, 2008, saw the offical opening of our Boston Downtown school, even though lessons have been running for several weeks now.
It was an opportunity for students and staff to show off the top-spec new facility, where everything from the flooring, to the interactive whiteboards and glass-walled classrooms, is of the very best quality.
Of course, the most important members of any Embassy school are its students, and in recognition of this, four excelling students were asked to unveil the founding plaque. Their names (Yeseul Kim, from South Korea; Ranidson Souza from Brazil; Seda Mutevelli from Turkey; Daichi Tagami from Japan) will be displayed there as a reminder of the event, and each of their stories of academic excellence and aspirations was told to an assembled crowd.
After all the formality, the party commenced, with food, music, and conversation flowing freely. To see more photos of this auspicious event, visit our Facebook Boston Downtown photo galleries.
