The Puyallup fair is a tradition for all residents of the Pacific Northwest. All of our Embassy and Study Group Transition students attended the fair along with staff and teachers. They enjoyed carnival rides, roller coasters, games, delicious American fair food, spending time with their fellow students, and of course--practicing their English!
A very popular ride, the Extreme Scream!

Here is what one embassy student, Jose Iglesias, wrote about his experience at the Fair: "Puyallup Fair which is a famous event in Washington State was from September 11 till 27. I was learning English in Embassy CES Seattle Tacoma and they gave one day to spend there so that was great idea. They decided gave Tuesday, September 15th, 2009 for us and this experience was awesome, we have very good memories about shared time with friends and Embassy employed however some of then can't skip their work; Could have been better with them too. My friends and I were enjoying so much this event because we saw this kind of fair in American movies and this moment, we were the actors. I hope I can go in other time in the future with my friends who are included Embassy Employed. Finally, if you ask me, I can repeat this again, It's really great time with friends and pretty fun time."
