New York, New York
I haven’t written for a while, so I'm going to tell you what I have been doing. I was visited by my mom, who came from Venezuela just to stay and spend time with us; actually she just left yesterday, so I have to confess that I have been busy for a while.
Anyway, another reason for my delay is that we were out of town. My mom wanted to repeat a trip that we used to make before I got married: to visit New York!
So, we went, and this time it was especially great, not just because of my mom, but also because my sister, who lives in Indianapolis, joined us there. As thus, it was a girly time for us: my mom, my sister and I.
We didn't stay so long - just five days - but we enjoyed it a lot. I promise you that in my next entry I’m going to give you more details about my trip, but in the meantime I'll show you a few pictures of some of the things I like the most in New York.

I love New York! It looks like you like the big advertising signs and busy streets, like I do.
What did you do there? Lots of shopping? Eating out? It looks like it was nice and warm.

Hi Gaby,
My name is Sachi and I'm from Sydney in Australia.
Wow, looks like you had a great time in New York. I've always wanted to visit New York. My brother lives in Washington DC so I might visit him later in the year and stop by in New York. Your English is very good - do you enjoy studying at Embassy?
Take care, Sachi

Hi Myf!. Yes, I love the big advertising signs and busy streets, but also the the great diversity of colors, aromas and people who you can see.
Definitively, NY is just a little bit worldwide. It´s exciting and at the same time intresting to see so many contrasts

Sachi, I´m so happy for listening from someone from Australia, I have friends there, maybe because of that.
I think NY is definitively a city to visit; as I said my next entry is going to be about NY, so perhaps that could make you feel more interested in going there

By the way Sachi, yes, I enjoy so much my classes, you know, sometimes I prefer to go to the beach instead of going to school, but I´m trying to do my best. The Classes are more difficult and challenging now, but at the same time more interesting
